Tip 1 - Research
Research exactly you want to blog about and the reasons why you are blogging whether it is for fun, fortune, fame, education or any other reason.
Tip 2 - Check out Blogging Web Sites
Look closely at blogging web sites and find a site that suits and reflects your own character and personality, and spend the time needed to make the site reflect who you are and the character you are trying to put across.
Tip 3 - Keep Records
Ensure that you record, preferably in a decent password keeper program, your blogs url and password. The worst scenario would be that you suddenly have a great idea for your blog only to realise that you have lost the url or can't remember you password and by the time you find them your thoughts have gone.
Tip 4 - Interest
Keep your blogging clear, interesting and to the point. Make sure that your title reflects what you are blogging about.
Tip 5 - Spell checking and proof reading
Ensure that you have proof read and spell checked your blog and that the content of the blog is appropriate. It will be on the Internet for all to see.
